The lessons above is an example of how I have used Tackk to guide learners through a topic; in this case, autobiographies. It allows students to access differentiated material and make choices about their work. The graphics were predominately created in an online resource called Canva - which is great for producing visual instruction.
The above resource is an ongoing project set up with my Year 7 EAL class. The outcome was to make a "Magical Advert' based on the items Harry Potter could buy in Diagonal Alley.
The above Tackk, 'An Unusual Tour' was adapted from a language course book. The express learning outcomes are to understand and use travel related vocabulary but I wanted to examine Tackk's potential for delivering differentiated lessons.
One of the advantages of using Tackk is the button feature, which allows teachers to direct different groups of students to the appropriate materials and activities. I think it worked reasonably well especially in conjunction with Googledocs.

This Tackk, 'Exploring Film & Cinema' is one I plan to use with my Year 10 ESL class, as a means of introducing them to studying cinema and film texts.
Initial activities will elicit previous knowledge and understanding, introduce them to both new and familiar key vocabulary, and then delve deeper into reading the minutiae of film (micro features). The resulting outcome will be that learners are able to identify genre and assess how a film texts creates this sense of genre through its subtle micro features.
